  • 15-inch (or larger) PC 2.8 GHz (or faster) 9th Generation Intel® Core™
  • 16GB Memory minimum (32GB preferred)
  • 512GB Solid State Drive  (minimum)
  • 8GB Video Memory (Suggested video card: NVIDIA Quadro K2000M) 
  • Windows 11 
  • Suggested PC laptops: Dell Precision 5540 Mobile Workstation, Dell Inspiron 15 7000series

Software

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (KCAI will provide this before the start of the semester) - subscription includes the Adobe font library (fonts.adobe.com)
  • Apple Keynote (free in the Mac App Store)

Additional Recommendations

  • External hard drive - 2.5” form factor, 500 GB to 1TB total storage – essential for backing up work
  • Wacom or another pen tablet
  • USB C to HDMI adapter
  • A DSLR camera often comes in handy for project work
