Be one of the first students to experience the new Student Residence Hall! Students who live on campus for the 2019/2020 academic year will spend their fall semester living in the current Student Living Center, and will be the first tenants of the new Student Residence Hall when completed in spring 2020. The new Student Residence Hall is available to incoming freshman, sophomores, junior, seniors, and transfer students!

With semi-suite rooms and private bathrooms, the Student Residence Hall will be the new center for student life on campus. Complete with a central common space to relax in after a long day in the studio, study lounges on each floor, a game room to unwind, a fitness center to rev up, and the Wylie Dining Center to refuel, the new Student Residence Hall will be your new home-away-from-home!

COMMUNITY - Students who live on campus create social connections with peers, participate in events, and join student organizations. A Major Studio Student floor will be designated for the growing community of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who decide to live on campus.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS - Living on campus provides increased access to academic support resources.

CONVENIENCE - Students who live on campus are close to classes, the dining facilities, and their studio.

SAFETY - Resident Assistants live on each floor to assist students with personal and academic matters. Additionally, the presence of campus security in the residence hall and on campus 24/7 gives an added level of safety and security.

ALL INCLUSIVE - Students who live on campus have no monthly utilities, rent, or need to shop for groceries as a variety of meal plan options are available to meet every appetite.

EASE - The contract covers only the academic year, as opposed to a 12-month lease for an off-campus apartment. Additionally, facilities staff maintain the building and respond to work orders very quickly.

SUPPORT - The living center is overseen by the Assistant Director for Housing and Student Activities, who is trained to help residents success in and out of the classroom.
