Description
This class will provide students with a foundation and history of silkscreen printing techniques, and a launching pad for mixed-media experimentation involving printed matter and multiples. Students will become familiar with traditional and non-traditional ways of working with prints, multiples, design and public art through lectures, field trips, collaborative and individual work. Research will be a key in individual projects, and consideration of audience, packaging, design, and public realms will be discussed at length.
