Description
Taking an exploratory approach, this course introduces a variety of collage and printmaking techniques through both digital and analog methods of building images. Students will investigate uncommon ways of combining digital applications for plate-making and collage, along with hands-on printmaking and traditional collage techniques. We will work in combination with stencils, color viscosity, layered prints and collage. The goal is to explore shape, form, and line in new ways through an expanded image vocabulary in printmaking.
