This course will investigate strategies that merge the language of print with time-based media. Students will experiment with modes of printmaking such as stenciling, frottage, xeroxing, and image transfers – as well as approaches in stop-motion animation, performance, and video – to invigorate how we think about the printed medium in a time-based context.
