Description

This course will introduce the fundamental techniques of ceramics including wheel throwing, slip casting and hand building methods. Students will use these options to design and create works for their everyday lives centered around their habits, rituals, living or workspace. Through this coursework we will also examine the connections between method, function and meaning to create personal works related to your own point of view and how you navigate the world. The course is open to students of all knowledge levels and experience in ceramics.
