Description
[Juniors and seniors only] In Live Action for Animation, we will explore the making of live action videos to understand the real-world references that you will need to ground your animated works, as well as a means to fully understand the distinctions between live-action video and animation both their limitations and strengths. Throughout the course of this elective, you will create three works each will focus on a different aspect of the cinematic frame, Character, Action, Objects and Space/Geography. We will also watch and discuss live action films as they pertain to these assignments.
