Description
[Animation majors only] This course will focus on character performance and the articulation of artful motion design through the practice and discipline of stop motion puppetry. Students will complete course work using prefabricated armatures, with class exercises culminating in the creation of a complete motion reel of animated character performance. Emphasis for this course will be on the exploration of emotionally nuanced character performance and studying the complex mechanics of animating the human body in motion.
