Description

[Renaissance/Baroque] The monuments of painting, sculpture and architecture of the early Italian Renaissance, from Giotto to Botticelli, are examined in this course. Special emphasis is placed on the role of philosophy, politics and religion in the shaping of the life and artwork of this period.
