Description

[G/C; Ancient/Medieval] Even to the classical Greeks, the Egyptian culture was β€œancient.” Pausanias and Herodotus described its monuments with awe. This course will examine the painting, sculpture, architecture and crafts of the Egyptians, which vividly portray their complex mythology, belief in the afterlife and, in general, their rich history from Neolithic times through the Late Period.
