Description
Sequential Art and Comics are explored as a synthesis of sequential narrative and visual storytelling. Many of the exercises utilize a specific comic book template and an anthology is created and printed at the end of the semester. A condensed history of comics and various ways to approach paneling and sequential image-making is introduced. Students are encouraged to integrate their own stories/personal narrative into the exercises.
